Highly phosphorescent supramolecular hydrogels based on platinum emitters.
We have synthesised a neutral, water-soluble, Pt(II) complex able to aggregate more efficiently in aqueous solutions than in organic solvents. The aggregates are luminescent and are not quenched by molecular oxygen. Further, we have prepared phosphorescent hydrogels utilising host-guest interactions between cyclodextrins and the tetraethylene glycol tails of the Pt(II) complex. The soft assembl...
متن کاملBlue phosphorescent emitters: new N-heterocyclic platinum(II) tetracarbene complexes.
Photoluminescence measurements show that platinum(II) tetracarbene complexes, which could be obtained via different synthetic routes, are interesting lead structures for the development of blue emitters for PhOLEDs with good quantum yields and high photostability.

Incorporation of dibenzothiophene-S,S-dioxide units into conjugated fluorene oligomers changes the frontier orbital energy levels and presents an effective way to increase the electron affinity of these materials, which are highly fluorescent with bright blue emission in both solution and the solid state.
متن کاملHighly-efficient solution-processed OLEDs based on new bipolar emitters.
A series of new bipolar solution-processable RGB materials are designed by considering the solubility, morphology, fluorescence efficiency and carriers balance. Solution-processable OLEDs are fabricated with high efficiencies, especially, the green TCBzC-based device shows the maximum luminous efficiency of 31.6 cd A(-1), which is among the best reported values.
متن کاملA photoluminescent nanocrystal-based signaling protocol highly sensitive to nerve agents and highly toxic organophosphate pesticides.
A photoluminescent II-VI group semiconductor nanocrystal (NC)-based signaling platform composed of thioglycolic acid capped CdS NCs and acetylcholinesterase-acetylthiocholine enzyme catalytic reaction system was developed that was shown to be highly sensitive to nerve agents and toxic organophosphate pesticides with detection limits down to sub-nM levels. This new sensing protocol does not requ...
